LABORATORY COLLECTION SITE SERVICES

Personalized Laboratory Services.

When it comes to patient labs, we work to make this a safe and comfortable process.  Our tests require either a blood, salivary or urinary sample.  Some sample collections will be done at our clinic, while others will be performed (by you) in the comfort of your home. Wisconsin Airway Institute will assist in reporting your lab results to the medical clinic of your choice for interpretation. We’re also happy to recommend preferred providers in the area.

Services:

Benefits:

  • Personalized

  • Quick Results

  • Affordable

Do you have a high-deductible, co-pay, or do you pay cash for your labs?

Our labs are some of the least expensive you will find. While our primary purpose is to take labs to screen for systemic health and inflammatory patterns for our periodontal patients, we are happy to provide these services to all patients in our practice.

Alyssa, Andrea and Kayla will draw your blood skillfully and compassionately. This translates to an appointment that is as quick and painless as possible.

Blood Draw Tips:

  • Make sure to clarify if your blood draw is fasting, meaning no eating or drinking before the appointment.

  • Being well-hydrated means a faster, more comfortable appointment.

  • Sometimes being nervous or coming in on a chilly Wisconsin day can influence the ease of your blood draw. Wear a warm clothing layer to help improve your experience.

Vitamin D:

Did you know that Vitamin D is actually a hormone, not a vitamin? Vitamin D plays a critical role in our health which is why we ask our patients if they know their Vitamin D levels.

For more information, we recommend reviewing the information provided by Dr. Stasha Gominak, a Harvard-trained neurologist: Dr. Gominak Vitamin D
